So, this was my first Himalayan experience
At 4:30 23 September 2012, an avalanche swept away C3. I couldn’t convince the expedition leader that the mountain was safer now than what it was before the avalanche and heavy monsoon precipitation. Rolwaling Excursions (together with several other expeditions) decided to chicken out. Healed from my chest infection but left without any logistical support, I had no choice but to leave the mountain.
